National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)
Participants will receive a Credential from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Participants will complete a curriculum in a classroom environment and will apply the skills learned in the classroom as they work on a construction site either building and / or rehabbing a home.
MSSC Certified Logistics
Associate (CLA) & Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Logistics Associate-Certified Logistics Technician (CLA/CLT) covers core competency areas, as defined by MSSC’s industry-led, nationally validated skills standards for higher skilled, frontline material handling workers across all supply chain facilities: factories, warehouses, distribution centers and transporters. Individuals are assessed for two credentials: the foundational-level Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) certificate and mid-level Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification. CLA is a prerequisite for CLT.
Precision Machine Training (PMT)
Work with specialized equipment in a machine shop environment to learn the fundamentals of metal cutting, shop safety, shop mathematics, measuring tools, blueprint reading, drill operation, lathe operation, introduction to CNC, mill operation, grinder operation and intro into geometrical tolerance.
ServSafe Food Handler Training
ServSafe is a food safety training program developed by the National Restaurant Association that is nationally recognized and accredited. ServSafe certification ensures individuals will gain knowledge of food sanitation methods, proper storage practices, and how to prevent food-related illness. Certification requires a one day online training course and passing the food safety exam.
