Coronavirus Relief Fund: Rental & Trash Assistance Program
OIC’s Coronavirus Home Emergency Relief Program has received additional funding to continue assisting eligible households experiencing hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic with back rent, trash or utilities (including water/ sewer and heating sources).
Assistance may be provided through September 2022 or until assistance funds are depleted.
Am I Eligible For Assistance?
Have you lost your job or has your household income been reduced due to the Coronavirus Pandemic?
Have you experienced an increase in household expenses due to the Coronavirus Pandemic?
Are you late paying your rent, mortgage, water/sewer or heating source bills?
Is your combined household income for all household members age 18 and over less than the income limit guidelines listed in the table below?
If you answered "YES" to all of the questions above, you may be eligible to receive assistance from OIC's Coronavirus Home Relief - Emergency Service Program.
To request assistance, carefully read and complete all documents in the Assistance Application Packet.
Return all required documents to:
600 W. Main St., at the new HEAP Drive-thru, Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The drive-thru is closed weekends and holidays. For after hours and week-end drop-off use the mail slot located in the HEAP building.
Household Income for Eligibility
Income eligibility for this program is 200% of the federal poverty guidelines (and will be calculated during the application process.) The table below provides the annual income limits by household size.
